In this series， Jack and Annie travel in their Magic Tree House to explore many different times and places。 You could read books in this series out of order and understand。 In this story they encounter ninjas。 The author has written nonfiction research guides （Fact Trackers） to accompany these books。 I have not read it， but #30， Ninjas and Samurai， goes with this story。 This could be a great way to tie it into facts。 Grades: K-2 read aloud; 2-4 as an independent read

This one was kinda boring， honestly。 And it felt somewhat disrespectful to the ninja culture from what I know about them。 I did like Peanut （the mouse）; but other than that， there wasn’t much that happened。 I’ll continue because it’s bringing back memories from when I was younger and I do like that the author narrates it， but this one just wasn’t it for me。

I liked that Annie and Jack found their way back to the tree house when they were far away from it and that they were a rock。 It made me feel like that would be kind of cool if I could do that in real life。 It was just really fun reading it。
